Recent BusyKid: Money Card for Kids Reviews
I recently found out that BusyKid will not transfer the money your child has earned back to you via normal ACH transfer. It is almost like they are trapping the funds that are in the account. The customer service rep explained it like this “Stripe which is the banking system we use does not allow us to refund money over 90 days old. It is like returning an item to a store past the return date, they can’t refund money so they issue an account credit.”.
If you have kids, this is the best way to teach them how to manage money.
I couldn’t even open an account because I received some arbitrary text message saying the information I submitted couldnt be verified. No further way to determine what the actual issue is. This is a joke!

I just signed up for BusyKid yesterday, so I am only reviewing the customer service experience. I signed up after work on a Friday, started setting things up Saturday morning. I kept getting a problem when ordering the card for my son. I reached out to BusyKid and quickly recieved a reply email. They asked for pictures of the error, I sent them. Before noon I had my problem resolved and the card was ordered for me. So far great experience.
My kid loves keeping track of his chores and having his own debit card.
Put my info then didn’t let me verify my account and just stuck on same screen no one tried to contact me and won’t let me do anything 0 stars for me
TERRIBLE fraud support. Fraudster depleted account, and they charged overdraft fees and will not reverse. Support is almost impossible to reach, and when you finally get somebody, they send you to another company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Borderline Criminal. This app used to be free (unless you wanted a debit card). I used my debit card to load up my kids account. They then decided to change to a monthly/annual fee and sent one single email out saying you needed to opt out or they would start charging your card on file. I never saw this email. What’s diabolical is they immediately charged us all the annual rate meaning all it took was you missing one single transaction for the year. I was lucky to discover it Year 2. Criminal.
